Textbook Requisition Due Dates for the Undergraduate College of Arts and Sciences:
Summer 2010 Textbook orders are due to the University Bookstore on or before Friday March 19, 2010.
Fall 2010 Textbook orders are due to the University Bookstore on or before Friday April 9, 2010.
Spring 2011 Textbook orders are due to the University Bookstore on or before Friday October 8, 2010.

On time requisitions allow us to effectively research titles, notify you of new edition or out of print information, and maximize used book purchases from wholesalers. The student textbook buyback program relies almost entirely on timely adoption information. You can learn more about the buyback here. Faculty members' timely adoptions allowed the University of Mary Washington Bookstore to reach a record 54.62% used versus new book sales for spring 2008. Data from the National Association of College Stores (NACS) 2006 College Store Industry Financial Report indicate that the participants' average used to new book percentage is 29.77%.
